2.6

Removing the Adiabatic Cover

Remove the adiabatic cover and cool the heat development unit.

CAUTION

As the rack is very hot, take precautions against burns when removing the adiabatic
cover.

Procedure

(1)

Open the upper cover.

<NOTE>

Do not close the upper cover unless necessary to keep the temperature of
the heat development unit low and to prevent deformations by heat.

(2)

Remove the heat development unit handle, heat development unit cover,
four adiabatic covers, and heat development unit exit cover.

<NOTE>

When removing the adiabatic covers, be careful not to scratch the cables of
the heater and thermistor.
