9.3.4 Enabling the Auditron Mode
There are two ways to set the auditron functions (default settings).
Enable/Disable Auditron Mode
This function allows you to enable/disable the Auditron Mode. You can use the auditron functions only
after you have enabled the Auditron Mode. The User Password Entry screen will appear after you have
switched on the power and when you try to access the Tools Mode or the Auditron Administration Mode.
Each account user is assigned a password and you can use this feature to control the access rights of the
users such as their copy limits and colour access. You need to set the account data for all users if you
wish to enable the Auditron Mode.
9.3.2 Creating/Modifying account data
Setting the User Password Entry screen display timer
You can set the time for the User Password Entry screen to be displayed after the last copy job is done.
You can set by using increments of one second, between 1 to 59 seconds. Alternatively, you can set by
using increments of one minute, between 1 to 10 minutes. In addition, you can choose to prohibit it. In
this case, the User Password Entry screen will not be displayed. However, you can display the User
Password Entry screen by pressing the Password button even if the timer has already been set.

Procedure
Display the Auditron Functions Menu screen.
Select Auditron Setup .
The Auditron Setup screen is displayed.
