Check points
The document cannot be
sent into the DADF.
Document jams occur very
often.
Is the document too small?
Troubleshoot Method
The smallest paper size that can be loaded in
the DADF is A5.

“4.1 Types of Documents”
Are you using documents like name
cards, transparencies or light weight
paper?
Are suitable documents used?
Is the document guide skewed?
Does the document have paper or clips
attached to it or adhesive tape pasted on
it?
Is part of the document torn and pieces
of the paper are left in the DADF?
Is the document curled?
Is the setting Black in Output Colour?
Is the colour gradation skewed?
Is there a message that indicates it is
time to replace the toner cartridge?
Load paper that is suitable for the DADF.

Remove the attached clips and adhesive tape
from the document before making copies.
Straighten the curl of the document and load it
again.
Select Full Colour in Output Colour.

Set the document guide properly.

Open the DADF to check.

“7.3 Clearing Document Jams”
Replace the toner cartridge as indicated by the
message.
Select Automatic Gradation Adjustment in
Tools Mode.

The edge of the document
is folded.
Colour copies cannot be
made.
The colour gradation of
colour copies is skewed and
the image quality is poor.
