Making Copies

This feature allows you to make copies that are very close to the document in terms of image quality.
The document types are as listed below.
Photo & Text
You can select this feature when the document contains both text and photo. The machine will
automatically determine the text region and photo region and make copies according to its document
type. Select from Magazine Photo, Photograph or Colour Copies for the photo regions.

Magazine Photo... For documents with printed photos such as magazines and pamphlets.

Photograph.......... For photographs pasted on documents. It can prevent the bluish effect on the
copies.
•
Colour Copies..... For documents that are printed from colour copiers such as DocuColor and Acolor
series. It can prevent the colours from thinning.
Text
You can select this feature to make clear copies of the text region. It can also make clear copies of
photos, graphs and illustrations.

Normal Text................... For copied text or printed text.

Pencil Text (Black)........ For documents written with black pencil. It can copy the light pencil marks in
a darker tone. (This feature can be used only when
Black is selected for
Output Colour on the Basic Features Screen.
Photo
You can select this feature when copying photographs. As in the same case as Photo & Text, you can
specify the photo types from Magazine Photo, Photograph and Colour Copies.
Map
You can select this feature when copying colour maps with text.
