Automatic Gradation
Adjustment
You can do the following with gradation adjustment if the colour adjustment of the copies made are
not satisfactory:

check by printing the current gradation
●
l adjust the gradation
●
set the gradation range
This section explains the automatic gradation adjustment function.
●
The adjustment chart and the copy printed out to check the gradation will not be recorded as copies made by the meter.
●
Sometimes, the colour gradation may not be accurate. Contact your Xerox Customer Support Centre.

When you carry out gradation adjustment, the Tools Mode default values of Feature Defaults change as follows:
Lighter/Darker = Normal or Auto (it returns to Normal when the Feature Defaults is Lighter—Darker, and it returns to Auto
when the Feature Defaults is Auto), Colour Shift = Normal , Colour Saturation = Normal , Colour Control = 0 , Sharpness =
Normal

Procedure
Display the Tools Mode screen.
Select Image Quality/Grad. Adjust .
The Image Quality/Gradation Adjustment screen is displayed.
Check the gradation adjustment target.

The Image Quality screen is displayed.
