Using the Sorter for
Copying

[Sort]

Finisher

Sorter

When the sorter or finisher is used, two more output features, Collated and Uncollated are available.

●

If the optional sorter or finisher is installed, the Basic Features screen can display the Sort feature.

●

For the settings of the feature displayed on the Basic Features screen, see "6.2 Overview of Tools Mode".

●

The system administrator can change the Sort buttons arrangement using the Tools Mode screen. For details, see "Chapter 6
Tools Mode Settings".

Output Tray

Copies are output to the output tray.

Collated

Copies are output to sorter bins and sorted into page sequence of the document.

Uncollated

Copies are output to sorter bins and separated according to the pages of the document.
