When it is time for the oil cartridge to be replaced, the message below will be displayed. Replace
the oil cartridge. If you continue the copy job without replacing the oil cartridge, copying will stop
after 1500 copies and no more copying can be done. The number of copies that can be made after
the message is displayed depends on the images of the documents.
Do not touch areas on or near the fuser unit that are affixed with the label Hot Surface.
You can get burnt as a result.

The oil may spill over when replacing the oil cartridge. You are recommended to spread some paper under the machine
before replacing the oil cartridge.

Contact your Xerox Customer Service Centre for proper disposal of used oil cartridges.

Procedure
Check that the machine
has stopped and open
the front door.
Turn the green lever (A)
at the centre of the
transfer module to the
right to a horizontal
position. Then pull out
the transfer module (B)
toward you.
