Projector Volume Options
—
•
Rate
refers to the speed at which volume control commands are sent to
the projector or plasma. The fastest command-sending rate is 0, the
slowest is 3.
•
In this field, you can also select the settings that match the projector’s
volume control settings:
Increment/Decr:
If your projector uses
increment
/
decr
ement
commands (only one command is issued to increase the volume, and
one is issued to decrease it), this radio button is selected.
Table:
If your projector uses a
table
of predetermined levels to adjust
the volume, this radio button is selected. Also, the number of steps
used for volume adjustment is indicated in the Steps box. Refer to the
projector’s manual or the display driver setup document for details.
Projector Comm
— In this area you can set the communications protocol (baud
rate, parity, data bits) that is required by the projector.
Misc. Options
— This section provides a way to send (or not send) commands
while the display is off or powering down or powering up, and to repeat
power-down commands.
•
No IR/232 while Display Power Off:
If this check box is selected, no
IR or RS-232 codes are sent to the projector while it is powered off,
warming up, or cooling down (except for the command to power on).
•
Bypass Power down button 2 second Holdoff:
When this check box is
cleared (the default), in order to power off the projector you must press
and hold the power off button for 2 seconds, after which the OFF
button starts to blink and the projector begins to shut down. (This
helps prevent accidental powering off of the projector.)
To disable the 2-second button press requirement, select this check box.
Reset to Factory Defaults
—
Total Factory Reset (MLC only)!
is a global reset that clears all settings
(including button configuration and IR and RS-232 commands and
drivers) in the MLC.
