Reprogramming the volume control buttons
If you do not want to use these two buttons for volume control — for example, if
you have the MLC 52 IR VC or the MLC 52 RS VC, which have volume control
knobs, you can reprogram them for other functions. To reprogram the VOL
buttons,
1
.
Clear the Use for VOLUME control check box. The VOL UP and VOL DWN
names are removed from the diagram.
2
.
If the projector has a volume table
, the following prompt is displayed:
Click Yes to remove the table in order to continue programming the button.
Removing the table removes all commands from the volume buttons; you do
not need to do anything else. (If you later want to restore the table
management to the button, reload the driver to the MLC.)
If the projector does not have a volume table
, you must use the Remove
IR/232 Commands buttons to remove the volume commands from the
button you want to reconfigure. See
Removing commands from a button
,
earlier in this chapter, for the procedure.
3
.
Add the desired commands to the button, following the procedure
described in the
Assigning functions to buttons using IR drivers
or the
Assigning functions to buttons using RS-232 drivers
section as appropriate.
