Click OK. After a few seconds, the Extron MLC 52 Configuration program
screen appears, displaying the Controller (MLC) Config. tab.

The MLC 52 Configuration program screen

The MLC 52 configuration program main screen contains the following:

•

Three tabs

, which you can select in order to access the configuration and

control functions available in the control software:

Controller (MLC) Config.

— Enables you to program the buttons on the

MLC 52, perform IR Learning, and use display drivers with the system.

The software shows a one-gang sized model on this tab.

However, the buttons on all of the MLC 52 models are
configured by the same methods.

Advanced Projector Config.

— Enables you to enter user-defined RS-232

commands, define parameters for projector volume control, and change
the name of the projector driver.

Misc. Options

— (MLC 52 RS only) Lets you adjust baud rates, data bits,

parity bits, and warm-up and cool-down times for the projector.

•

Two pull-down menus:

File menu

— Provides options to load Extron drivers, save and restore

configurations, and update the MLC firmware.

Help menu

— Displays the MLC 52 Help, which provides information on

procedures for performing all tasks required to configure the MLC 52
using the configuration software.

•

The RS-232 projector driver, communication port, and firmware version

information are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
