To place a button in macro mode, follow these steps:

On the MLC 52 diagram, click the button that you want to configure. The
button becomes yellow.

Program onto the selected button the commands that you want to be part of
the macro. See

procedure.

In the Switch Mode field, select the Macro radio button.

You must program the commands onto the button prior to setting it for
macro mode.
Linking buttons to create macros
Linking gives you an additional way to create button macros. It provides a way
to associate MLC 52 buttons with each other. Using the MediaLink MACRO
Configuration screen, you can link a memory block of one button to a memory
block of another button. Once two buttons are associated, you can press one
button to trigger its own functions, and also trigger all the commands associated
with the other button. Linking, in effect, adds more functionality to a button. If
all four of a button’s memory blocks are filled, you can link it to another button
and thereby issue up to eight commands when the trigger button is pressed.
