Discover Remote Button



Loop UP/Down



Loop Up

establishes the connection with the selected remote unit

and loopback mode is set and initiated on the remote unit.

Following a successful loop up, the MAC and IP addresses of the
remote unit will be used as the destination addresses for the test.

Once the connection is established with the remote unit, the local
unit can be set for EtherSAM, RFC 2544, EtherBERT, or
Traffic Gen & Mon testing.

A message is displayed if the remote cannot be reached.



Loop Down

ends the connection between the local and the

remote units.

Local Module Identification

Module ID

is used to easily identify this unit in case another unit is

performing a discovery scan. Up to 16 alpha-numeric characters are
allowed.
