Tank calculation: Hybrid tank measurement system (HTMS)
HTMS uses level and pressure measurements to calculate the density of the medium.
In non-atmospheric (i.e. pressurized) tanks it is recommended to use the
HTMS
P1+P3
mode. Two pressure sensors are required in this case. In atmospheric (i.e.
unpressurized) tanks the
HTMS P1
with only one pressure sensor is sufficient.

1. Navigate to Setup → Advanced setup → Application → Tank configuration → Pressure
2. Go to
P1 (bottom) source (→ 184)
and specify from which device the bottom
pressure (P1) is obtained.
3. If a top pressure transmitter (P3) is connected:

and specify from which device the top pressure
(P3) is obtained.
4. Navigate to: Setup → Advanced setup → Application → Tank calculation → HTMS
