Importante
Non far funzionare il motore, ad
un elevato numero di giri. Quando è
freddo aspettare il riscaldamento
dell'olio e la sua circolazione in tutti i
punti che necessitano di lubrificazione.
È possibile avviare il motociclo con il
cavalletto laterale esteso ed il cambio
in posizione di folle, oppure con la
marcia del cambio inserita, tenendo
tirata la leva della frizione (in questo
caso il cavalletto deve essere chiuso).
Successivamente, man mano che
il motore si scalda, portare
progressivamente la leva dello
starter (1) in posizione verticale (A).
Il motore regimato termicamente
dovrà tenere il minimo con starter
completamente chiuso.
Temperatura ambiente alta
(oltre i 30°C / 86°F )
Eseguire la stessa procedura descritta
per “Temperatura ambiente fredda”
senza utilizzare la leva comando
starter (1).
Note
Per avviare il motore già
caldo seguire la procedura descritta
“temperature ambiaìente alta”.
Important
Do not run the engine at high
speed. When the engine is cold, allow
some time for the oil to warm up and
reach all points that need lubricating.
The engine can be started with side
stand down and gearbox in neutral.
When starting the engine with a gear
engaged, pull in the clutch lever (in
this case the side stand must be up).
Subsequently, move the cold start
lever (1) gradually towards its vertical
position (A) as the engine warms up.
Once the engine is at normal running
speed it should idle smoothly with the
cold start lever completely closed.
High ambient temperature
(over 30°C/ 86°F )
Proceed as for “Cold ambient
temperature” but without using
the cold-start lever (1).
Notes
Follow the “High ambient
temperature” procedure to start the
engine when it is already warm.
