Fit the O-ring ( 7 ) and fit the coolant
inlet union (14) to each cylinder.
Tighten the two screws (5) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Fit the centring bushes (12) in the
two seats on the contact surface
with the head.
Important
To prevent the possibility of
fluid leakage when the engine is
running, position the O-rings very
carefully.
If the pistons have been separated
from cylinders, before reassembling
these components, position the
piston ring gaps at 120° from one
another (the marks must always
face the piston crown).
Use a universal tool to carefully insert
the piston into the cylinder (first
lubricate the inside of the cylinder
with engine oil). Position the cylinder
with the smallest valve recess is on
the side of the exhaust port.
Remove any deposits from and
degrease the contact surfaces of
the crankcase and the cylinders.
Apply a bead of sealant as shown in
the figure, then position the gasket
on the crankcase.
Using the cap
88713.1920 , fit the
O-rings (19) on each stud and insert
them in their seats in the crankcase.
Check that the cylinder locating
dowels (18) are fitted on the crankcase.
Posizionare la guarnizione OR ( 7 ) e
montare il raccordo di ingresso
acqua (14) su ogni cilindro.
Bloccare le due viti (5) di fissaggio alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Montare le boccole di centraggio (12)
nelle due sedi sul piano di contatto
con la testa.
Importante
Per evitare perdite di liquido
durante il funzionamento del motore
è necessario fare molta attenzione al
posizionamento delle guarnizioni OR.
Se durante lo smontaggio si è
proceduto alla separazione dei pistoni
dai cilindri è necessario, prima di
procedere nell'inserimento, orientare
le aperture dei segmenti a 120°
tra loro (la marcatura va sempre
rivolta verso il cielo del pistone).
Utilizzando un attrezzo universale,
inserire delicatamente il pistone
dentro al cilindro (è bene lubrificare
con olio motore l'interno del cilindro
prima dell'introduzione) facendo
attenzione che le sacche valvola
più strette devono trovarsi in
corrispondenza dello scarico.
Pulire da precedenti incrostazioni e
sgrassare le superfici di contatto
del semicarter e dei cilindri.
Applicare pasta sigillante seguendo il
percorso indicato in figura, e
posizionare la guarnizione (13) a
contatto con i carter.
Utilizzando il cappuccio
88713.1920 ,
inserire le guarnizioni OR (19) su
ogni prigioniero ed accompagnarle
nella sede sul carter motore.
Verificare che sul basamento
siano installati i grani (18) di
centraggio dei cilindri.
