Operating Instructions

Fault and Alert (continued)

When present, an Alert with the number of Alert conditions will popup on the screen, the
User will press the UP or DOWN button to display the Alert, or press the Enter button to
acknowledge an Alert has occurred. If there are Multiple Alerts, pressing the DOWN button
will scroll through the various Alerts. All Faults and Alerts will be Displayed until the Engine
shuts down and then the most severe Fault will be Displayed as a Fault. Pressing the ENTER
button after the Alert has been Displayed, acknowledges the message and the Display unit
returns to the Default screen of Engine hours (See Figure 3-4).
