STEP 9 - FIGURE 114

Test the machine for proper operation. Make sure the

Corn Cracker is well greased, adjusted, and that all bolts

are securely tightened.
Put guard (items 1) back in place and lock it. Install the

balancing springs (item 2) and adjust them using the

handle (item 3).
Slide the axle shaft (item 4) back in its operating position

and lock with the pin and locking pin.

NOTE

: Set the spring link bar (item 5) to the correct

position, according to the selected attachment

(refer to page 117).

NOTE

: The Forage Harvester is now ready for corn

crop operation.

IMPORTANT

: Install the front plate of the pan (item 7 of

Figure 24 on page 36). In certain con-

ditions, this will reduce the lost of corn

grains.
