CLUTCH TORQUE SETTING - FIGURE 257

The torque setting can be modified with the help of a set-

ting ring and two alternative location slots in the clutch

housing.
1. The setting ring provides for a

2. The clutch housing has two locating positions for

the settings (1 and 2) which are located at different

levels.

NOTE

: For each power pack, four torque settings are

possible (see table below). The setting ring can

only be removed when the device is not under

tension, which is obtained by tightening the nuts.

NOTE

: For tractor with less than 150 HP, set the clutch

to position 1. After the first hour of operation,

check to see if the clutch is getting hot. If this

is the case, increase the torque setting by 10%.

Carry out this procedure regularly.

NOTE

: Setting the torque to an excessive value can

cause damage to the tractor and to the Harvest-

er driveline.
