ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS - ELECTRIC QUICK-DISCONNECT HITCH (UP TO 2017)

NOTE: This option is not available on F41 Stinger

models.

STEP 1

Quick disconnect the power cable (item 20) from

the control box before making the connections.

Open the control box (item 1) located in the tractor cab.

Install the key switch (item 2) and fasten it permanently.

Connect the blue and white wire (item 5) to the terminal

and the blue wire (item 6) to the #4 switch pin of the

key switch. Connect the supplied wire (item 7) to the #3

switch pin and to the box terminal (item 8). Close the

control box cover.

STEP 2

Unroll the accessory wire (item 1) located under the

mechanism, close to the sheaves and part of the Forage

Harvester wire harness. Mount the wire guard (item 2)

and route wire through it as shown

STEP 3

Secure the electric unhooking device (item 1) and the

quick-disconnect hitch (item 2) together on the draw bar

with a 1” x 2-1/2” Ig. hex. bolt (item 3), a lock washer and

a nut, two 5/8” x 2-1/2” Ig. hex. bolts (item 4), two lock

washers and two nuts. Tighten all nuts properly.

NOTE

: If Forage Harvester is already equipped with

a manual quick-disconnect hitch, remove rope

and rope pulley and use the same quick-discon-

nect hitch.

STEP 4

Secure the cam (item 1) to the motor with a flange nut

(item 2) and tighten it slightly. Install the slotted link (item

3) on the cam pivot (item 4) with a 5/16” flat washer (item

5) and a cam lock (item 6), which can be installed by

pressing over it then by pushing it horizontally into the

cam pivot slot.

NOTE

: Narrow side of slotted link toward the bottom.
