PROBLEM

PROBABLE CAUSE

SOLUTIONS

The «beep» and alarm light

are continuous.

Check position of jumpers.

They should, by default, be

in the OFF position on J6

and in the “BOLT” position

on J8. The ON position on

J6 is used when optional

motion detectors are in-

stalled on the cutter head

and the feed rolls. In this

case, choose, on J8, the

type of clutch on the trans-

mission shaft between the

transmission and the cutter

head.

Check position of jumpers on the electronic board

of the metal detector.

The transmission shifts

directly to REVERSE follow-

ing a metal detection.

Bad power supply.

NEUTRAL - REVERSE sensors are not properly

adjusted or they are defective. The electronic

board is defective. The electronic board should be

serviced by a qualified technician approved by the

manufacturer.

The safety reset button

of the metal detector box

switches to the OFF posi-

tion.

Power supply connections

inverted.

Sensor wire shorted.

Check polarity of connections. White is positive (+)

Check transmission sensor wire for damages.

Turn off device, disconnect sensor connector on

the electronic board, switch device on. If you still

have the problem,

check the other wires, if not, the problem comes

from the sensor wire.

The safety reset button in

the tractor cab switches to

the OFF position.

Power supply connections

inverted. Damaged wiring

cable.

Check polarity of connections. Carefully repair wir-

ing. Check for continuous current between positive

connector and machine frame.

The machine detects metal

for no apparent reason

(False detection)

The lower front feed roll

bearings are defective

causing the roll to touch the

antenna.

The feed rolls turn at

maximum speed.

The maximum speed is

obtained when:

• 34-teeth sprocket for the

length of cut.

• Use of a 11.3 in dia pul-

ley on the corner trans-

mission.

Replace the lower front feeding roll bearings.
Check feed roll bumpers, they may be touching

each other.
Check antenna.

Move jumper J9 from position G=100 to position

G=50 (G for Gain)

The solenoid retracts iedi-

ately when switch in turned

ON.

Board relay is defective.

Electronic board defective. The electronic board

should be serviced by a qualified technician ap-

proved by the manufacturer.
