6.10 Cleaning the empty chamber

Operating Instructions DAC Universal

2. Press the “Down”-Key to turn on automatic water.

"Automatic water" is now turned on and the ready screen
reappears.

6.10

Cleaning the empty chamber

Frequency: weekly or every 50 cycles (whichever comes first).

✔

The DAC Universal is switched on and ready for operation.

✔

The Standard lid of the DAC Universal is removed and there is an

unobstructed view into the chamber.

✔

There is no water or oil in the chamber.

1. Clean the empty chamber with a lint-free cloth and a solution of 70 %

isopropyl alcohol.

2. Insert the Standard lid in the holder of the DAC Universal.

IMPORTANT

If there is no permanent water connection, the DAC Universal will jump 

directly to the ready screen when the DAC Universal is switched on 

again.

IMPORTANT

If there is no permanent water connection, fill the water tank with 

demineralized or distilled water (water conductivity < 3.0 µS/cm).

IMPORTANT

The chamber must not be cleaned with agents containing chlorine. 

NOTICE 

No instruments must be on the Standard lid. 

NOTICE 

Make sure that the lid is inserted all the way into the holder.
