Important: the current running through the common terminals must not exceed the rated current of a single terminal:
• k.air mini: 5 A for groups 1 and 2, 1 A for group 3;
• k.Air large: 8 A

c.pCOe is an expansion module that can be used to increase the number of available I/Os. For details on mounting the c.pCOe
expansion cards, see technical leafl et +0500059IE.
The k.Air controller is designed to be able to host up to four c.pCOe cards with serial addresses from 2 to 5; to assign the serial
address to the c.pCOe card, the dipswitches on the card must be set as shown in the fi gure; the “Ext” dipswitch must be set to
“OFF” (no off set).
Important: the dipswitches must be set when the unit is off .

In the same way as for serial communication, the factory confi guration of the c.pCOe expansion cards is already set up for com-
munication with k.Air via the FieldBus2 port, with Modbus protocol and baud rate
19.2 kbps. For more details, see 0300057EN.
