Other Equipments 1-105

vehicle. Release the button when
you reach your desired speed.

y

Slightly press down on the brake

pedal, and the Cruise indicator on
the instrument panel will go out.
When you reach your desired
speed, short press the
Decelerate/Set Up (-/Set Up)
button. The vehicle will maintain
the desired speed.

y

To slightly reduce the cruising

speed, short press the
Decelerate/Set Up (-/Set Up)
button in a repeat pattern. The
cruising speed reduces by 1.6
km/h with each button press.

y

When cruise control is activated,

you can still step down the
accelerator pedal for overtaking.
When overtaking is finished,
release the accelerator pedal and
the vehicle will return to the preset
cruising speed.

y

Resting your foot on the brake

pedal will cancel the cruise control.

Canceling Cruise Control

You can cancel the cruise control by
any of the following operations:

y

Press down the brake pedal.

y

Press the Cancel Cruise Control

button (Cancel) on the steering
wheel.

y

Press the cruise control master

button (ON/OFF) on the steering
wheel.

When you press the Cancel button or
slightly step down on the brake pedal,
the Cruise indicator on the instrument
panel goes out and the vehicle will
slow down. At this time, you can
operate the accelerator pedal as
usual.

The system has saved the previous
cruising speed. To resume the
previous cruising speed, speed up the
vehicle to more than 40 km/h and
then short press the Speed Up/Reset
button (+/Reset). The Cruise indicator

comes on and the vehicle will
accelerate until it reaches the
previous cruising speed.

If you press the cruise control master
button (ON/OFF), the system will be
turned off with the saved cruising
speed cleared.
