Safety Devices 1-41

Arrange 3-point seat belt

Arrange the lap belt around the hip
rather than the waist, and then pull
the shoulder belt upward to a proper
position.

CAUTION

y

Do not make the seat belt too

loose or the lap belt too high.
Under this condition the
occupant body could slip out of
the belt in an accident, resulting
in severe injury or even death.
Keep the lap belt around the
lower hip area.

Never wear the shoulder belt

under the arm.

Adjustable shoulder belt buckle

Adjust the shoulder belt buckle to
proper position.

Lift up: slide the buckle upward.

Lower down: press the lock release
button and slide the buckle
downward.

After adjustment, make sure the
buckle is locked at proper position.
