Requirements

Regular vehicle maintenance is
very important.

We strongly recommend you to abide
by the maintenance schedule
indicated below. Proper vehicle
maintenance is helpful in the following

It is recommended to have your
vehicle serviced at a BYD authorized
service station.

BYD technicians are well trained and

knowledge through academic journals
and training programs provided by
BYD. They have learned to work on
BYD vehicles rather than getting
familiar with them in working. You can
be confident that the BYD authorized
technicians perform the best service.

have special service tools supplied
exclusively by BYD AUTO. BYD

services to meet the maintenance

About Do-It-Yourself Maintenance

You can perform many maintenance
items if you have basic mechanical
knowledge and service tools. The
maintenance items that you can
perform by yourself are described in
Chapter 8.

However, remember that part of the
maintenance requires special service
tools and professional skills. Such
maintenance items must be
performed by qualified technicians.
Even if you are a skilled DIY
technician, we recommend you to
have the complicated maintenance
items performed by a BYD authorized
service station. The BYD service
station will keep a maintenance
record for your vehicle, which is very
