The seat belt must be properly
fastened under the condition that a
child who has to take a front seat.
Otherwise the child could be severely
injured or even die as a result of the
fast deployment of airbag in an
accident.
Never allow a child to stand or kneel
on the seat. A child who is not
properly restrained in the seat could
be severely injured or even die in a
hard braking or crash accident. In
addition, it is not safe to hold a child
on your lap. Holding a child in your
arms is also not safe.
Pregnant woman: A pregnant occu-
pant shall wear the seat belt properly.
Consult your doctor for precautions
on using the seat belt. The lap belt
shall be tightened lower than the hip
of the pregnant woman rather than on
the waist.
Wounded personnel:
A wounded
occupant shall wear the seat belt
properly. First consult your doctor for
precautions on using the seat belt
considering the condition of the
wound.
If there are applicable local laws on
use of seat belts, please have the
seat belt replaced or installed in a
BYD service station.
CAUTION
When the vehicle is moving, all
occupants shall sit in the seats and
wear seal belts properly. Otherwise
the occupants could be severely
injured or even die in a hard braking
or crash accident.

Follow the instructions below on
using seat belts:

Each seat belt must be used by
only one person at a time. Even
a child must use a seat belt
alone.
y
Do not adjust the seat back to an
excessive tilting angle. In a
head-on or rear collision, a
properly fastened seat belt can
provide maximum protection
when the occupant is leaning
against a vertical seat back. If
the seat back angle is too large,
the lap belt may slide along the
hip and pose pressure to the
abdominal part, or the shoulder
belt may slide to the neck. In
head-on collision accidents,
larger seat back angle could
significantly increase the risk of
personal injury.

Do not damage the seat belts or
attachments. Prevent the seat
belts from being trapped or
clamped in seats or doors.

Check the seat belts regularly
for crack, wear and loose
connection. Make replacement if
any part is damaged. Do not
attempt to disassemble or
