2. The oil filter replacement interval
can be shortened according to the
specific engine conditions.
Harsh conditions refers to any of the
followings:
(1) If the vehicle is frequently used in
dusty area or exposed to salty air.
(2) If you frequently drive the vehicle
on rugged roads, in water or in
mountainous region.
(3) If the vehicle is frequently used in
cold weather.
(4) If you frequently let the engine
idling for a long period or make
short-trip driving in cold weather.
(5) If the brakes are frequently used,
especially for hard braking.
(6) If the vehicle is frequently used as
a trailer.
(7) If the vehicle is used as a taxi.
(8) When the temperature is over 32
°C, if driving in busy traffic accounts
for 50% or above of the total driving
time.
(9) When the temperature is over 30
°C, if driving at a speed of 120km/h or
above accounts for 50% or above of
the total driving time.
(10) If the vehicle is frequently
overloaded in driving.
This maintenance schedule lists the
minimum maintenance requirements
to ensure the normal vehicle
operation. As the driving conditions
may vary in different regions,
additional maintenance may be
required.
Required Maintenance
Record
After each scheduled service, please
request the technician to record all the
required items in the maintenance
record. You should keep all
maintenance receipts.
