The fluid level may drop if there is a
leak in the system. In this case,
regularly check the fluid level and
have the system inspected and
repaired.

Only use Mobil ATF
DEXRON
®
- power steering
Ⅲ
fluid or other ATF fluids that
meet DEXRON- standard.
Ⅲ
Failure to use the proper fluid
can cause damage to the power
steering system.
y
Add the fluid slowly to prevent
overflow. If overflow do occur,
remove the excessive fluid
immediately. The parts in the
engine compartment may be
damaged if contaminated by the
power steering fluid.

If you have any problem on
checking or adding the power
steering fluid, contact a BYD
service station.
NOTICE

Don’t turn the steering wheel to
full left and full right and lock it
there; otherwise the power
steering pump may be
damaged.
Check Tire Pressure
Keep the tires inflated to the proper
pressure.
See specifications in Chapter 8 “Tires”
for the recommended tire size and
pressure.
Check the tire pressure once a week
or at least monthly. You must check
the pressure of the spare tire as well.
Improper tire pressure will cause
increased fuel consumption, reduced
drive comfort, premature tire wear
and decreased driving safety.
If the tires lose air quickly, have your
vehicle checked by a BYD service
station.
Follow the instructions below when
checking the tire pressure:

Check the tire pressure when the
tires are cold. To get an accurate
reading, you should check your
tires when your vehicle has not
