THIN CLEANING FUEL FILTER
The thin cleaning fuel filter (fig. 33) consists of a cap 5 with the
stem 6, welded on it, cover 8 and filter element 4. From below in a
stem is screwed-in the drain plug 1 with gasket 2. The tightness be-
tween a cap and cover is provided with gasket 7. The cap is connected
to a cover with bolt 12, under its head the seal washer 13 is put.
The replaceable filter
element made of the special

The filter element is
pressed with spring 3 to the
cover. From end faces the
filter element is sealed with
gaskets.

In a cover is screwed-in
the jet-valve 15, which is
sealed
with gasket 10.
Through jet the part of fuel
together with air, which has
got in system of low pressure
are drained.
The jet valve is adjusted on the opening beginning pressure
20-40 kPa (0,2-0,4 kgf/cm
2
). At low pressure in the fuel feed system
that can be observed at engine start-up, the fuel drainage does not oc-
cur, and a fuel feed of the electric flame pre-heater is improved.
During operation periodic drainage of sediment, change of the
filtering element, washing of the cap is provided.
