The equipment and the stand instruments should meet the re-

For monitoring fuel pumps of a high pressure except for stands
the following equipment is necessary:

the weighting machine of middle class accuracy on GOST

The tests of pumps should be carried out with the clean diesel
fuel of the mark

mixture of above fuel with industrial oil on GOST 20799-88, aircraft
oil on GOST 21743-76 or lighting kerosene on TU 38.401-58-10-90,

Before installation of the pump on the stand check up the axial
play of the camshaft. If the play exceeds 0,1 mm - adjust it with adjust-
ing shims within of 0,01…0,07 mm.
The camshaft should be free rotate on the bearings at tightened
bearing cover screws
The check and adjusting of the fuel pump should be carried out
at stand set of injectors of 261-03C model, having effective throughput
section

It is allowed to check and to adjust the fuel pump with a work-
ing set of checked injectors. The every injector should be assigned to
the certain section of the fuel pump, and then the injector should be
installed in the order of it assignment to the pump section.
For stand set of high pressure pipelines it is necessary to apply
the pipes with length 415

3 mm, the difference in throughput of pipe-
lines, should not exceed 1 mm
