all frictional pairs of valves drive, and through outside pipe - to bear-
ings of turbocharger, governor and high pressure fuel injection pump.
The oil pump drive intermediate gear bearing is oiled under
pressure
too. The auxiliary unit drive gears, camshaft cams, the all ball
bearings, the cylinder liners are oiled with splash.
On the forward flange of oil pump outlet pipe is installed the
reducing valve, by-passing
the oil back in sump at pressure on the
pump outlet more than
700…800 kPa (7,0…8,0 kgf/cm
2
).
For stabilization of pressure the differential valve is included in
the engine lubrication system, it adjusted on the beginning of opening:
490…520 kPa (4,9…5,2 kgf/cm
2
).
Monitoring of engine oil pressure is carried out in the central oil
channel.
The centrifugal oil filter (fig. 18) is included in parallel after the
full-through oil filter and it cleans up to 8 % of oil flow, passing
through lubrication system. The filter is intended for thin cleaning of
oil. The mechanical impurity which are taking place in oil under action
of centrifugal forces are rejected to a wall of a rotor hood 9, forming on
it a dense layer of contaminants which should be deleted periodically.
The oil cleaned in centrifugal filter drains in the oil sump
The additional centrifugal cleaning of oil is made and in con-
necting rod journals cavities of the crankshaft.
