Measure the dimension

(fig. 107) from the end face of bear-
ing outer ring up to the casing surface with accuracy of 0,05 mm, make
sure, that a spring ring and the bearing are tightly pressed to the casing
surface.
Measure the dimension from gasket to thrust ring located in cap
boring

with accuracy of 0,05 mm.
Select the total nominal thickness of adjusting gaskets S from a
condition:

Tighten the auxiliary transmission fastening bolts for two steps
(see table

The tightening sequence - according to the fig. 108.
At repair of the auxiliary transmission with replacement of the
synchronizer parts adjust required rod travel at engaging of the highest
range, having ensured unloading of fork retainers at work on the high-
est range, for what:
1 Engage the highest range in auxiliary transmission, having
supplied the air under pressure from 784 up to 833 kPa
(8...8,5 kgf/cm
2
) in a rear cavity of the pneumatic cylinder,
make sure that engaging couplings of the highest range have
entered in complete gearing. At complete gearing the signal
lamp should be off, the drive shaft flange should not turn by a
hand force.
