4 Wash-up the internal cavity of hood with clean diesel fuel.
The cleaning even with clean drags is not allowable .
5 Install in the hood new filter element with the rubber gasket
to outside. In gasket hole install the lock cover, having en-
sured the correct position of the gasket. Having pressed on
the lock cover, drown it together with element in the hood
and turn on 45°. The hood flange will be entered into cover
slots, then the spring will wring out the cover into work po-
sition.
6 Screw on the hood with an element on the case union 1 and
tighten with the moment 20 - 40 Nm (2 - 4 kgf·m).
7 On the running engine to be convinced of absence of oil leak
through the hood seal. After the four replacements of the fil-
ter element replace the sealing gasket 2.
WASHING OF CENTRIFUGAL OIL CLEANER
1 Unscrew the dome-fastening nut (fig. 63) and remove the
dome.

2 Unscrew the rotor nut and remove the rotor and thrust
washer 9(fig. 64)
3 Disassemble the rotor as follows: unscrew the nut 8, take off
washer 7 and rotor hood 6.
4 Remove sludge from hood 6 and rotor 5 and wash them in
diesel fuel.
5 Assemble the filter by reversing the disassembly operation,
having checked the condition of gaskets 2 and 4, nozzles 3,
rotor and washer 12. If necessary, replace the gaskets and
clean the rotor nozzles.
