CAUTION
1. Serviceable work of a gear box and its service life are in di-
rect dependence on culture of operation, therefore it is necessary atten-
tively to consider realization of all service works stipulated by the pre-
sent instructions.
2. The application of the lubricant materials, which not speci-
fied in the present instruction, is not allowed .
3. In order to prevent damage of the auxiliary transmission
synchronizer and synchronizers of the basic gearbox the gear shifting
in the basic gear box at the signal lamp on is
not allowed .
4. In order to prevent excessive increase of the engine crank-
shaft speed and the increased gear box synchronizers wear the engag-
ing of the lowest range in the auxiliary transmission is not allowed at
vehicle speed more than 35 km/hours.
5. In order to prevent the gearbox breakage at vehicle moving
it is it is strictly forbidden to shift first gear at highest range engaged in
the auxiliary transmission.

ЯМЗ
-239 gearbox (fig. 109) is mechanical, nine-gear, con-
sists of the basic five-gear box and two-range planetary auxiliary
transmission.
