MCS Panner

The JLCooper MCS Panner is supported with the Joystick MC. You must first download

and install the

SurroundPanner_31327.dmg

from the Avid website to configure the Sur-

round Panner to use with Pro Tools and the Joystick MC.

To configure the Surround Panner:

Open

Pro Tools Peripherals > MIDI Controllers

Assuming you have four HUIs configured, re-assign controller #4 to

SurroundPnr

in the Type field.

Set

Receive From

and

Send To

to the appropriate EuCon port, as defined in Eu-

Prefs Pane.

If you have a previous HUI assignment, first select

None

, then re-assign to a Eu-

MIDI port.

Close the Pro Tools Peripherals Setup WIndow.

Press Soft Key

Bank 6

on the MC and you will see the controls for the Surround

Panner assigned in the Pro Tools Appset (pre-installed with the MC from the fac-

tory).
