11.3.5 Nuendo-Specific MC Controls

This section discusses MC controls that have a unique function within Nuendo.

Soft Keys

Soft Keys may be programmed with three Nuendo-specific commands by selecting

type commands.

• Parameter Collect

: Stores automation data into the MC’s internal memory buffer

for punching into Nuendo’s automation system at specified locations.

• Parameter Punch

: Transmits automation data collected into the MC’s internal

memory.

• Read/Write All Automation

: Used in conjunction with Parameter Collect and

Parameter Punch to isolate automation system from automation being collected

into the MC’s internal memory buffer.

Multiple Track Selection

Multiple track selection from the surface depends on the
