A3.1 Auto-dial Function, Re-dial Function
These functions refer to automatic dialing (calling on a telephone) and re-dialing to a
predefined telephone number from the FA-M3 until the line is connected. You can also
disconnect a line (hang up a telephone).
After the line is connected, access from the higher-level equipment can be achieved
using PC link commands.
To send a message to a beeper, use the message transmission function.
To send data to the higher-level computer, use the event transmission function.
CAUTION
The redial setting cannot be used with the message transmission function.
