A3.  Modem Connection Function 

You can connect an external modem to this module and then use PC link commands to 

monitor devices on the remote FA-M3 via the modem.  Moreover, an on-site alarm can 

be generated and transmitted from the FA-M3 to the higher-level equipment or 

transmitted to a beeper. 
 
Dialing can be initiated from the FA-M3 (this module) or the higher-level equipment.  

When dialing is initiated from the higher-level equipment, you can use the password  

(4-digit numerical value) security function to guard against external intrusion.
