Attaching Modules in Intense Vibrating Environments
If the modules are used in intense vibration environments, fasten the modules with a
screw as shown in Figure C2.6. For this, use a screw described below. With a Phillips
screwdriver, tighten the upper side of the module with this screw.
During this operation, the user must tilt the screwdriver somewhat using the guide channel
at the top of the module. A clearance of approximately 80 mm between the module and the
duct above it is necessary to allow the screwdriver to access the screw.
CAUTION
DO NOT overtighten the module fixing screw.

C3.1.4 External Wiring
To ensure compliance to CE Marking for a system incorporating this module, use a
shielded cable for connecting to the module. Peel off part of the insulation of the shielded
cable to expose the shield, and apply an FG clamp to the shield to secure and ground it.

F3LC11-2N
The F3LC11-2N personal link module is connected to an external display through the
RS-422-A/RS-485 terminal block. Refer to Section C1.4, “System Configuration”.
Figure C3.7 shows the RS-422-A/RS-485 terminal block. Figures C3.8 and C3.9 show the
wiring diagram. Figure C3.10 shows the flow of signals.
