The holes in the spring seat should align with the bolts
on the sliding sheave.

through the holes.

While pushing down on the spring seat, install the
nuts and tighten them to the specified torque.

Secondary sheave clearance

5. Calculate:

Shim thickness
NOTE:
For example, if the clearance is 36 mm (1.42 in),
install a 0.5-mm (0.02-in) shim on each bolt so the
clearance is 35.5 mm (1.40 in).
