The shift cable joint must be screwed in
at least 8.0 mm (0.31 in).

• Shift operation

Checking steps:
• Turn the throttle grip to the fully closed
position.
• Check the shift lever for smooth operation
by shifting the lever from neutral to forward
and reverse.
