• Set the shift lever

until its hole aligns with the set pin.
• Install the clip

and tighten the locknut

WARNING
The cable joint must be screwed in a
minimum of 8.0 mm (0.31 in).
4. Check:
• Shift operation
Unsmooth operation
→
Adjust.
Checking steps:
• Turn the throttle grip to the fully closed
position.
• Check the shift lever for smooth operation
by shifting the lever from neutral to forward
and reverse.
