Status Light Conditions
Two status lights (fig. 8.1), or LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes), indicate printer status
conditions according to their on, off, or blinking patterns. For pattern details, see
“Status Lights” in chapter 1.

The following list indicates status and service conditions and appropriate
corresponding actions.
Status Condition
Action
Initial Warming Up
The printer is warming up and initializing. Wait
until initialization is complete and the printer
status changes to Online Ready before sending a
job to the printer.
Online Ready
The printer is ready to receive a new job. No
action required.
Online Receiving
The printer is receiving date from your host. No
action required.
Online Waiting for Data
The printer is waiting for more data from the
host. No action required.
