Removing and Installing the Toner Cartridge
1. Remove any media from the output tray (fig. 1.7).
2. Pull the front cover side latches forward and pull the cover forward and down
(fig. 1.11). Then, hold the top cover on the right and left sides, lift up, and pull
back (fig. 1.12).

3. Remove the toner cartridge if it is in the printer by grasping its handles and
pulling it slowly out of the printer (fig. 1.13).

4. Remove the new cartridge from its package. Hold the cartridge by the ends and
gently shake it several times to distribute toner evenly (fig. 1.14).
