Selecting the Active Channels
Depending on the variant, the
Navigation Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200
has one or two
channels. On systems with two channels, the channels can be activated or deactivated
independently of one another.
The number of active channels influences the display on the screen of the
Navigation
Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200
. The available channels can be selected either individu-
ally or together. If only one receive channel is active, the whole width is used to display
the information on this receive channel. If both channels are active at the same time, the
information field and display area are split and the information on the two channels is dis-
played alongside one another. Receive channel 1 is displayed on the left-hand side. Re-
ceive channel 2 is displayed on the right-hand side.
The following settings are available:

The default setting is "1".
Proceed as follows to select the number of
active channels:
1. Open the menu
2. Select menu item
MAIN MENU > SET-
TINGS > Active Channel
.
3. Press the
[ENTER]
key.
4. Select the desired setting with the
[CURSOR]
keys (up or down).
5. Press the
[ENTER]
key to confirm the
selection.

The display of the channels on the
screen is adapted accordingly.
