6.5.4
Operation of the Menu
The menu of the
Navigation Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200
is operated via the keyboard
on the device.
6.5.4.1
Opening the Menu
At each reboot, the device starts with the settings active before switching off. One ex-
ception is the display colour. The display colour is reset to the default setting "Day" at
each reboot of the device.
Proceed as follows to switch off the Naviga-
tion Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200:
1. Hold the
[OFF]
key
depressed for a
longer time (approx. 5 seconds).

The unit shuts down.

If the
[OFF]
key is released before the device has shut down, the device continues with
normal operation.
The settings made are saved when the device is switched off. One exception is the dis-
play colour. The display colour is reset to the default setting "Day" at each reboot of the
device.
Proceed as follows to open the menu:
1. Press the
[ENTER]
key

bottom left-hand corner of the dis-
play area.
