TAG Blocks
Incoming TAG blocks are always completely parsed. If a TAG block contains an error, the
whole line is rejected even if the information contained would not have been used during
the further course of processing.

Serial
The

responds in accordance with the stan-
dard to NMEA 0183 4.10 Table 11.

This means that incoming sentences are not filtered. Incoming serial telegrams according
to NMEA 0183 are always accepted.

dard to NMEA 0183 4.10 Table 11.

This means that incoming LWE telegrams are only accepted if the source ID of the
Nav-
igation Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200
is indicated as destination (d:) in at least one TAG
block.
Only the destination ID of incoming TAG blocks is used. All other parameters are ignored.
