Configuring the interface

Precondition:

The “SERIAL INTERFACES” menu is unlocked 

6.5.4.4.

The serial interfaces are operated with 8-N-1 (8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit). This set-
ting cannot be changed.

Proceed as follows to configure an inter-
face:

1. Navigate to the menu 

MAIN MENU > 

SERIAL INTERFACES 

and select the 

desired interface

.

2. Press the 

[ENTER]

 key.

3. In the menu

 of the selected inter-

face, select the desired menu item

.

4. Press the 

[ENTER]

 key.

5. Select the desired setting with the 

[CURSOR]

 keys (up or down).

6. Press the 

[ENTER]

 key to confirm the 

selection.

7. If necessary, repeat the process for all 

the other menu items.
