PELACSDS

PELACSDS is a proprietary NMEA data set that allows the depth information from two 
channels to be output. In addition to the depth information, the data set contains informa-
tion on the installation position of the transducer.

The data set is only transmitted by the 

Navigation Echo Sounder ELAC LAZ 5200

. In 2-

channel mode, the data are transmitted alternately from the two channels. A distinction 
can be made between the channels using the transducer position.

The data set contains the following information:
