Installation

4.1

Section Safety Messages

Section-specific safety precautions warn of specific dangers which can occur during all 
activities described in the following chapter or section. The safety precautions relate to 
all the following contents and are given once at the beginning of the chapter or section in 
order to avoid repetition.

DANGER!

Hazard to working safety

Unauthorised changes to the system can deactivate the safety devices! Danger to life 
and limb!

Only operate the system in accordance with its intended use and in safe and perfect 
technical serviceability.

Faults that could impair safety must be corrected immediately!

The locally applicable safety regulations must be strictly observed during all main-
tenance work on the system.

Maintenance work may only be carried out by appropriately qualified personnel.

WARNING!

Danger for persons and machines

Impairment of operational safety by damage and deficiencies of the equipment!

If damage or faults are discovered during maintenance work which cannot be rem-
edied by means of any remedial measures given, switch off the system immediately 
and contact the manufacturer's service department.

WARNING!

Dangerous electrical voltage

Missing and improperly performed earthing can result in dangerous electric shocks and 
in accidents and falls.

When installing the unit, ensure that all the required earthing connections have been 
performed properly.

Never connect the unit to the power supply before all earthing measures have been 
completed.
